The 3-Foot Putting Routine That Cut 4 Putts Per Round Off Grace’s Card

1 min read

Three-putts are the fastest way to ruin a good score. Grace Charis shares the simple 15-minute practice green routine that transformed her putting confidence.

The Compass Drill

Place four tees three feet from the cup in North, South, East, and West positions. Make 5 consecutive putts from each tee before advancing to 5 feet. This trains your stroke on four different break angles.

Keep the Head Down Through the Roll

The most common mistake on short putts is peeking early. Grace focuses on listening for the ball to drop in the cup rather than watching it with her eyes.
